Amherst Sour Diesel is a cannabis seed whose origins are kept a secret. This wonderful vigorous marijuana plant will reward your work with large, elongated, compact buds complemented by a rich complex aroma. Indoors it performs best with a short growth and outdoors, in temperate, warm, dry and Mediterranean climates or in a greenhouse. The aroma of this cannabis hybrid is a pleasant combination of ripe fruit and oil. The flavour is rich and complex, with hints of tropical fruit, oil and exotic wood. The effect, typically Sativa, is euphoric, uplifting, powerful and long-lasting.

Let me tell you a story..
I have probably the best of luck, because during covid, I ordered a pack of special seeds. The Sour diesel #2. They arrived very late, about 4-5 months after ordering. Once arrived, planted them, only 5 made it. Mailed a complaint to HSO ,explaining the situation. They were going to send some new seeds. But the new seeds were no longer the SD#2. HSO had no more on sale. Out of stock everywhere..
The five plants that made it, already smelled incredible.
Out of the five, 1 male, smell was very fuely-plastic woody scent. And four females. A. mazing.
The one I liked the least, which was a creamy, fuely plastic, grew outdoors, and still killed it. Good smoke, but not perfect weather, so the crop could have been much better.
Second phenotype, straight lemon sour key lime pie. Bud structure in a banana shape almost, a bit less dense, and very fresh.
The two last ones are my favorite, which with these terpenes and flavanoïds, made me understand a few expressions.
(Keep in mind, these types genetics are rare from where I am).
The burned rubber smell. probably my favorite. makes you understand the name Diesel. Smells like you’re walking under a jet fuel airplane. So strong, so fresh and burns your nostrils. Just talking about it makes me smell it all over again. Having a date with a girl that doesn’t like stoners, and you bring that along, she might vomit on you. High is very strong, smoke is very strong and aggressive on the lungs if not careful, effect comes very fast, like a jetplane. Be warned..Gas..
The last phenotype I got, just as gassy, but with a very sweet, berry tropical, almost cheesy smell.
Tasted just as it smelled, sweet, mature berries, made a great incense in the room It would be a great strain for the ladies I am sure, sweetie, sugary. 🙂
With all these phenotypes, I made a few hundred seeds.
If it would be of interest to know more, go check out my Ghost of New York review, great strain as well, huge buds.. But in the same room together, SourD#2 leaves no chance for any other weed. You only smell that! Smacks you in the faace!
Sour Diesel is excellent, two phenas, one purple and the other a beautiful light. Very strong weed – nice smell, taste and uplifting effect.
Reminds me chemdawg from the old days.
